Just a few VSP member reviews...
VSP provides the vision coverage I need at a cost I can afford for both my lovely wife and I.
I have medicare, but it doesn't provide the vision benefits I'm used to. VSP perfectly fits my budget.

I am a retired employee and need to carry my own vision plan. VSP has provided coverage for years and I am happy with the ease of accessing and using the plan.
I had VSP through my company prior, then when they were sold we had a different vision insurance that wasn’t that great. So I looked up VSP and signed up for an individual plan.
I enrolled because I retired at 62 and do not qualify for Medicare. This is an excellent insurance. Affordable. I'm considering enrolling for dental care insurance too.
I usually have vision insurance thru my work but since I went private I am responsible for my own insurance! I was told about you guys by a family member and how solid of a company you are and I was not disappointed! This is the first time in my 48 years my glasses have costed so much and I am very grateful for the plan I have with you! Thank you so much!
I enrolled with VSP because I had their vision coverage in the past through employment. My current employer didn't offer vision coverage but I knew VSP was a good value. I'm glad I did enroll. VSP has saved me money.
I was so pleased to be a newly retired person, was used to corporate vision coverage and found single retired coverage is just as good. Very happy!
I have to get to my own insurance since I am unemployed. Having VSP for my eye coverage is fantastic. The premiums are so reasonable and the benefits are exceptional. My eye doctor is part of the VSP network, which makes it even better!
I enrolled because I did not have eye care insurance. The process was done quickly over the phone. The eye care provider I am using accepts it. The plan was affordable and worth it. There were not any issues during this journey. I am pleased and recommend VSP.
I've worn glasses for 60 years so I had become accustomed to paying for them on my own. I found VSP several years ago and it is wonderful. I pay once a year. My Rx is complicated. And the more problems you have, the more expensive in can be. VSP pays about 2/3 of my bill. I highly recommend them.
VSP has saved me hundreds of dollars on glasses over the years, and I've kept it even after retirement. The annual fee is the same as the cost of my annual exam, so all the discounts after that are "gravy".
VSP is the first vision insurance I have had. I needed to get up to date on my eye care, new glasses, lenses, exam, etc. I started with a very basic and affordable plan. The price per month worked for me. After all the services were done, I saved about 48% on the total cost! My eyes are good to go.
I believe I originally enrolled thru an employer but continued as an individual plan holder when I retired so I have been with VSP for years. VSP is THE most painless, affordable insurance coverage I've ever had. And the few times I have needed customer service I have received a prompt response from an actual human. They encourage me to maintain regular eye exams (even more important as we age), and have taken much of the sting out of the cost of new eyeglasses; particularly important as everything around us gets more expensive & we are trying to survive on a fixed income. They are unquestionably a good bargain that everyone should take advantage of, whether you are retired like me or have a young, growing family.
